Hold your horses! because the next Mortal Kombat movie will be R-rate and for our suprise, it will also include fatalities.
There is a reason as to why previous movie attempt for Mortal Kombat had been no more than a failure (Even though as a kid I watched them more times than I should, and I’m not proud of it), and it is because how they portrait violence.
Because let’s be real Mortal Kombat games are awesome fight games. But is the over-the-top and almost ridiculous violence why the serious is so beloved after all this year. I don’t think anyone could get tired of watching a superb Sub Zero Fatality, like in Ever!
Mortal Kombat movie writer Greg Russo came to give us hope. He recently posted a Tweet announcing the news and reinforcing what other members of the Mortal Kombat movie team had been discussing online.
Russo didn’t mention which fatalities will go to the big scream. but we can expect a couple of the lovely classic violent moves that fans have always crave to see in the films.
There hasn’t been much revealed so far about the upcoming film. However, on July 9 it was confirmed that Joe Taslim will be playing the most iconic character of MK, Sub-Zero. Joe is most known for its amazing fighting skills in movies like The Raid: Redemption and Netflix hit The night come for us (totally recommended the two if you like gore fighting scenes).
