Today’s Nintendo Direct was completely aimed at Mario Maker 2. This game has already conquered the hearts of many die-hard Mario fans. Myself included among those. Since the game was announced for Switch, it was expected to go further than just adding more creative tools. Nintendo is really caring when it comes to their mascot, and they didn’t disappoint with today’s Direct. Nintendo Direct unveiled that Mario Maker 2 will have a story mode and many other spectacular perks.
In addition, Mario Maker 2 will have an online co-op mode. This online mode will make 4 players play against each other to reach the goal post first, or co-op to defeat a boss or an obstacle. The other players will play as Luigi, Toad, and Toadette. Story mode is pretty basic. But, the core idea is still fun. You need to rebuild Princess Peach’s castle, and in order to do that, you need coins. By talking to the toads around the area and several other NPCs you will get “missions” to collect coins. Mario Maker 2 will feature over a hundred original stages crafted by Nintendo.
There’s so much additional content in this release! We suggest that you watch the new Nintendo Direct and try not to miss any second. This was one of the most news-packed one so far.
