Devil May Cry 3 is getting a special edition set to release for Nintendo Switch on February 20th, 2020. Devil May Cry 3 will retail for $19.99.
Switch Special Edition of Devil May Cry 3 will include Virgil as a playable character. In addition, the 9,999 floors of the Bloody Palace survival mode have been included. The system’s handheld mode will offer the flexibility to play on the go for the first time. Lastly, the new Switch version of the game will include additional boss fights.
Devil May Cry 3 story plot
The game sets years before the first Devil May Cry serving as a prequel for the franchise. The game’s story unfolds with a younger Dante and his journey culminating in his face-off against his twin brother, Vergil, who wants to unlock the gate to the demon realm. By fighting with his iconic sword Rebellion and dual pistols Ebony and Ivory, Dante will need to prevent the world from getting swarmed by demons.
Capcom belove franchise has recently release Devil May Cry 5, and it received pleasant scores and reviews from critics and the public. With the addition of Devil May Cry 3, half of the franchise will now be available on Nintendo Switch. The only titles missing will be Devil May Cry 4, Devil May Cry, and Devil May Cry 5. Perhaps in the future, Capcom will release the entire franchise for Switch.
