The upcoming Bend Studio’s game Days Gone is exclusively coming to PS4 and its most recent trailers show a promising game experience. It will present us survival action game with 30 hours of gameplay and according to the Developers, 20 percent of it will be made by cut scenes.
According to GameReactor the 6 hours of cuts scenes will be available in the main campaign. This information has already been confirmed by the developers SIE Bend Studio and also by Deacon St. John, the voice actor for the protagonist Sam Witwer on Twitter.
It seems Days Gone is promising to be a big hit thanks to the trailer which shows battles against a horde of zombies in different scenarios. Director Chris Reese claimed he actually didn’t know the game was that long and that no one on the team had actually completed the game.
6 hours of cuts scene seems to be a lot to take in, especially when games like Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, had over eight hours of cutscenes and it was one of the most criticized aspects of the game.
This new adventure is coming to us in times where, nowadays, zombies may not be a revolutionary idea anymore. In addition to this, games like The Last Of Us Part II and Death Stranding are taking most of the spotlight for this year when it comes to Sony exclusives. Still, we are eager to see what Days Gone can bring to the table on April 26th.
