Today developer Studio MDHR has announced that Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course has a release date delayed. Initially, the upcoming DLC was scheduled to be out at some time this year. However, MDHR studio has decided that to delayed its launch for 2020.
According to MDHR, they will continue polishing the DLC in order to get the same level of quality that the original Cuphead. Yet, with a new fresh take on the game, we all love.
In June 2018 Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course was announced for the first time together with a trailer where a new character was introduced. Ms. Chalice is the latest character joining Cuphead and Mugman in the new journey of helping Chef Saltbaker.
Chad Moldenhauer, co-director at Studio MDHR, said in a statement:
We want to be absolutely certain that this next adventure feels at home in the world of Cuphead and is full of moments that surprise and delight players. Furthermore, the development of the original game taught us a great deal about the importance of making things in a way that’s healthy and sustainable for our team.
So yes! We would have to wait a little bit longer to get Cuphead’s DLC. However, Studio MDHR left us a teaser to get our appetite going.
